Hirst
Conservation was established back in 1986 by Elizabeth Hirst. Elizabeth
was trained by the late professor Robert Baker and Mrs Eve Baker of the
Eve Baker Trust, who were considered by many as the most eminent conservators
of wall paintings and limestone sculpture of the 20th Century. Elizabeth
Hirst has developed these theories, processes and practices, ensuring
that Hirst Conservation moves forward in to the new millennium
well equipped to conserve and secure our heritage for future generations.
Elizabeth Hirst remains actively involved in the development of Hirst
Conservation and its specialisations.

Our company policy is simple: To provide a conservation service
second to none.
We take great pride in ensuring that as a company, we are at the forefront
of contemporary conservation ethics and thinking. Our highly professional
and dedicated team represent many different skills and disciplines within
Conservation and their combined knowledge and experience is constantly
striving to enhance current and develop future conservation practices.

Hirst Conservation is divided into two distinct sections:

Each company concentrates within it's particular specialist field,
but constantly work together to provide a professional and comprehensive
range of services and products for the Conservation industry.
